Blue cloth on boards. Volume has lightly faded edges, the tip of the rear bottom corner has been damaged, the cover and the pastedown torn. The endpapers are scuffed at that corner as well. Jacket is worn, torn, creased and has a piece missing on the rear bottom edge. The lamination of the jacket is loose at the top spine fold rear edge. Now in clear cover. The damage to this book sounds much worse then it looks. "The English is a major - and revolutionary - interpretation of English history. Norman F.
