American and British intelligence and Scotland Yard, continually ask and tell and direct him, to stop looking and asking questions, she is missing and that's the end of it. A newspaper item sets him on the trail again to America and with all of his stumbling and bumbling, after all, how can a civilian in a strange country find anything, he stirs the pot enough to find his Ellen, lead the FBI to her rescue and live happily ever after."
