Black paper on boards. Volume is at the line between good and very good. There are a few pages with faint creases, doesn't look as if this was deliberate, probably from careless handling. The jacket is worn on the edges, with a small tear near the corner at the top front edge and another at the bottom edge that has been repaired at sometime, inside, with clear tape. The rear foldover is creased. Now in mylar cover. "In The World I Left Behind Me, an engaging crew, a madcap scheme, and a brilliant technological rationale combine to create a memorable adventure story." Aliens, adventure, science, space, a little romance it's all there to make an entertaining read.
