Author Name Braden, William Title The Private Sea : LSD and the Search for God Binding Hard Cover Book Condition Good Jacket Condition No Jacket Publisher Chicago, Illinois, USA Quadrangle Books 1967 Seller ID 006108 Grey pictorial paper on boards, black cloth on spine. Volume is ex-library with only the withdrawal stamp on the fep, smudged stamps on the page ends, glue residue. Worn corners, edges, some fading and vague stains to covers. In the middle section of the book there appears to be some water (?) waves to the pages, however I don't see any stains. "For The Private Sea, Mr. Braden did not rely on library research; instead he utilized newspaper techniques - talking with key persons in the drug movement, conversing at length with Robinson and Altizer, among others, and participating in a psychedelic experience . He asked tough questions and combined the answers with his solid understanding of theology and philosophy.
